A Place of Bullet Holes & Buddha's

There is a place,
Where everything is in multiples,
Where flashes of colour make you blind to all the grime,
Where daylight brings chaos and order,
Where the streets create their own energy,
Where you can find solace behind walls,
This place is Vietnam.

Travelling the country of Vietnam the repetition of these elements can be found everywhere from the hot humid streets of Saigon to the cool smoggy lanes of Hanoi. There is a unique quality about the place that is both peaceful and intense which I have tried to convey in my series of photographs. Two of my photographs may appear busy and lacking a focal point but that is what represents this place to me, there is always activity and more than one thing to look at.

Why should I be chosen? ... I love to take pictures, I love to travel and I love to explore. You could send me anywhere and I would be over the moon, send me on my local bus to the next suburb to document the neighbourhood and I would be thrilled. I love the challenge of assignments and the opportunity to expand my creative ability. I am also keen to learn. My lack of technical ability and high end equipment is made up for in my enthusiasm and determination to be a great photographer.
