Hi, Blair and Lindsey here!  We decided to take a sabbatical from our careers in September 2014 and are on a journey to circle the globe over a period of 9 months.  We spent the entire winter, spring and summer researching where we wanted to travel, setting up budgets, booking travel and tediously planning our gear in order to fit it all in one carry on backpack each. We realize this is a pretty common thing for people to do from Europe or Australia, but in America we have gotten a lot of stunned responses that we would leave our careers at 30 and 34 years old.  That being said, we are super excited for the adventures ahead...and also pretty apprehensive about what we've gotten ourselves into.  We are hoping that this blog will be a good outlet to connect with friends and family back home, document the journey, and share the highs and lows of this experience.
