My Cambodian Life
My name is Liz Golden. I am just a girl on a journey really. This journey started when I drew my first breath and will end the day I draw my last.
This voyage has taken me to some wonderful places and I have experienced the ups, downs, and roundabouts of independent travel. All the while it has been people and their stories that has captivated me most.
I want to convey that feeling I get whilst going somewhere new and I want to share that. We all have felt it at some point to varying degrees. For some that sensation is transient and subsides for others maybe it lasts a lifetime.
When I reach a new destination I want to describe it to people in a way that makes them see it in the coloured cinema screen of their minds. An image that makes them want be instantly transported there. Whilst relating the beautiful scenes around me I also feel a strong compulsion to tell a human story that fits the place. People in their own right can make a place inviting. The world is our common frame. I want to put people in the picture and share their story.
