The idea of meeting people, sharing ideas, and shifting my existing paradigms are the reasons why I decided to try this platform. Travelling and meeting people made me realize my priorities. It is also a humbling experience to know and acknowledge that my vision of the world and my immediate environment is flawed. The goal here is to understand the world more and understand the differences among people.
Also, I really want to improve my small talk skills. If we are going to talk about life and ideas, we could go for hours talking about our hopes and ambitions for ourselves and the world. But small talk? I am still working on that. But I believe that even it may look shallow or skin-deep, small talks, if done right, can be the start or catalyst for a great and lifetime connection between two or more people.
