Let me introduce myself. My name is Debbie, I am a 49 year young fit and healthy sole parent of four beautiful adult children. Thus far my photography, whilst has been a large part of my life, has mainly been of my children and vacations with them. I have discovered much more now they are self reliant. The leaves on trees, the clouds in the sky, dirt and rocks on the ground, wheat in the fields, water cascading….some beautiful shots await me, and I want it all. I am always looking to improve my skills and my photos….there is always better.
After having a career in the bookkeeping, accounting type roles, I yearned for a “sea change”, so I am now nursing in an Aged Care Facility in country Queensland, Australia. This is where I should have been years ago, assisting the Aged in their lives, however I am not regretful for anything I have done or achieved, it has made me whom I am today. Life is for living, and this my 50th year, is the one for me. I am excited yet anxious about this milestone in my life, however look forward to it with enthusiasm and wonder.
