Somewhere over the rainbow

Each city has a sound. Each city talks, screams and whispers. There is no any city with a same sound. So we decided to show Barcelona through it's sound: it's international buzz, local talk and sea voice. So we showed the city not only through the local ears, but also, through their eyes and feelings.
We are filmmaking students of direction course in a film academy in Barcelona. Alina is a journalist and photographer from Kazakhstan and Leo is a cameraman from Venezuela.
We love to get lost among people, their stories, sound and daily routine and film it all. We love creating new inspiring stories by watching different people and places around the world. Leo did some advertising videos and music clips in Venezuela and Alina directed couple of shorts in the UAE and one documentary in Uganda.
We love documentaries and life’s stories, but not just filming them, we love to participate, get involve, act and help. Wining this scholarship will help us to learn from great teachers and open new horizons to look at the world from different angles.
