    A young boy from the community of Cancha Cancha, Peru plays cheerfully with his ball. Cancha Cancha is a small, isolated weaving community reached 4 hours by foot from the nearest town - Huaran. The community was devastated by the 2008 floods and requested house re-building and trail maintenance as Volunteer Service Projects, as well as donation of materials such as school supplies, cooking supplies and soccer balls. Weavers and families, together, described lack of access to most amenities and services as a result of distance and isolation of the community and raised concern for high illiteracy rates in the community.
