My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

Australia | Wednesday, August 18, 2010 | 5 photos

Shorncliffe Jetty - One of my most favourite places and its 5 minutes away. I have photographed this jetty and its surrounds on so many occassions and I still manage to take it in a different light each time. I believe its due to the fact I would sit with coffee in hand and watch the world spin while I tried and did pull myself thru many hard and life changing experiences. I see the world so differently today and I am not ready to go to God yet. I want the world to see how truely wonderful a place it really is, no matter where the photograph was taken be it from my backyard or just around the corner.

I have picked up my camera again and I would dearly love to see the places in our world and then show it to the world so they can then appreciate what we really have. Its not about who gets there first, its about how we get there. I am trying to get my career off the ground and get dissappointed when I see a photo that has not been photographed but photoshopped. In my tuition I was taught to get it right thru the lens and not thru photoshop. I have waited many a long silent pause to get the right shot. I believe its worth it and I cant wait to get home to upload and then I just get blown away - WOW I took that - ME!!!

I would be so blown away should I even get a mention. I have had some 1 on 1 tuition(3 hours) and looked at every free course online.

I used to steal my Dads camera as a 9 year old and shoot everything in site and then some, however, that was a wee while ago now. I now keep my camera with me just in case an opportunity arrises and I would hate to miss it.

I hope you enjoy the photographs from my wee part of my world.

Linda
