We're heading off on a trip of a lifetime!
Leaving Perth on the 19th of December, bound for Johannesburg. Our Safari takes us through South Africa to the Kruger National Park (our first game park) and then on to Chobe National Park in Botswana; throughout the trip we will travel to many game parks where we will walk/drive alongside the Big 5! We make our way to Livingston (the home of Victoria Falls) in Zambia, where we spend Christmas eating Biltong and maybe participate in a bit of Gorge Swinging. We head back through Botswana toward the Okavango Delta, here we will camp by the riverside and experience canoeing alongside beautiful hippo’s. Then on to Namibia to see how the tribal folk live in the Kalahari, and we eventually end up passing through the Otjitotongwe Cheetah Park. After this we head toward the Namib Naukluft Park, (where the humongous sand dunes tower up to 300m over flat valley floors and we’ll watch an amazing sunrise). After travelling through Fish River Canyon, we ultimately arrive in Cape Town, South Africa where we say goodbye to our new found friends and leave on a jet plane bound for home.
