Thought you may be interested in learning a little Lao.
Pardon for my delayed journaling, the monsoon rains have come making internet sporadic and sparse. Uploads are nearly impossible so as the days go by my journaling may become less and less.
A little update from the past week. I continue to teach English five days a week, two sessions a day, from 4-8 pm. Building relationships and trust with the students, family, and teachers. We celebrated our headmaster's birthday yesterday, which was only the second cake and party he has ever had before.
Spoke to the Past-r in Ubon, Thailand whom FBCMJ will be hosting his children in your school and our visit is coming up soon. Will report our visit and pictures.
Also, my other teammates will be arriving one week from Saturday from Florida and Texas.
Next week, weather permitting a visit to the country village where work on the new club will begin. Please keep this in your thoughts.
