I am a very lucky to work with some of the world's most endangered species, and although this at the same time is sad as most of the time the reason these species are endangered is due to our own doings, I at the same time have hope. Through the International breeding programmes the animals I work with are part of we can keep these species alive in zoos as a 'reserve' safety population should they terribly become extinct in the wild. These animals act as ambassador animals for their species and a huge educational tool for the thousands of people who visit the zoo a year. I want to use my photography to educate people about the plight of species and get people thinking more about the environment and this amazing planet we SHARE not own.
