In the early mornings on market day at Bawen Pon Market, Central Java, Indonesia the cows are being brought in. This seller brought one truck full of young cows to be sold in the market. This market is often called Pon Market because it only opens accordingly to the Javanese calender, on the day of Pon. The Javanese has five days in a week, so this market only opens once in five days. This system has been like this since hundreds of years ago.
