My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

Serbia | Monday, October 24, 2011 | 5 photos

It is going to be almost a year since I started doing photography. I have always admired other people when they were pulling out those big black machines that could stop the time and make a memory of what lays around. Then I got mine, and it completely changed my life. Whenever I touch I camera I feel inspired to capture the beauty of this world. To me, photography is not just an art, it’s a way of living. You wake up, the first you see when you open your eyes is a picture what is around you, framed by the corners of your sight. So unintentionally you start seeing a world as a picture, and people are not aware of that, but there are a few brave guys or gals that stand out trying catch that moment. The moment they feel inspired and willing to show it to the rest of the world. The moment that tells a story, that awakens instant admiration in the spectators. They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, but I only got 300 to write about the photography itself. Strange, almost undoable task, but ‘’never say never’’. I wanted to show you what I think about the photography and to say that when I saw this scholarship announcement was a ‘’dream come true’’. I have never worked with a professional, but I want to learn, know the very core of photography, have an adventure and have fun. I hope I put enough of my heart into this very limited 260 words of what I feel about photography and why should I be the one to go.

Best regards,
