Hi,
I am Amy and I am a 43 single white female from the USA who recently got divorced, lost my 15 year old dog, sold my house and left my high-paying yet extremely-boring job at one of the world's largest software companies and have embarked on a "Gap Year" all by myself.
Some people think I am crazy while others get it. I'm not looking for anyone's approval but it sure is nicer to connect, communicate and share with like-minded folks.
I feel life is short, so you got to put the haters and doubters behind you and continue your own personal journey through life.
I believe there is beauty in everything -- plants, animals, people, buildings, rocks -- you name it. If you just take time to stop, look and listen the world presents itself in a whole new light.
I'm on my own personal journey -- to see the world, experience new things and take a pause from my hectic life that was going in a direction I didn't want it to.
You see, I don't think you are more important than anyone else by the car you drive, how many gadgets you have, what type of clothes you wear, etc.....maybe I used to and shame on me.....but I believe in your soul, the goodness in the world, the beauty and the existance of a higher power. Call it God, Allah, Buddah, whatever -- I accept them all and accept you, no matter who you are, where you came from and what you believe.
