My name is Martyn Leaning. I am a full time cardiology staff nurse working in Scunthorpe General Hospital. I am married with 2 children and a third on the way. I have dyslexia and I am not great at writing stories and believe that this is actually the first time I have ever written about myself like this. I am a very keen amateur photographer and go out and about whenever I can. Mostly at the minute my photography has been night based due to having children which allows me to spend days when I am not at work with them and leaving my nights to go and explore around Lincolnshire, Yorkshire Derbyshire etc to capture night photography which I absolutely love doing as I believe this can change an image dramatically and emphasise buildings and landscapes to make them look different and stand out to how we see these same landscape and buildings in daylight hours. I like using long exposures during both day time and night photography which enhances the sky's and rivers and again makes a nice image for people to look at. I would love a chance to expand the destination of where I can travel to a explore a new section of the world to have a chance to capture its beauty and hopefully be more noticed for my photography work.
