I think growing up instills a sense of wisdom about the world. Its such an amazing place, every time i get the chance to travel somewhere i feel as though I have taken a lesson from the earth and try to learn and grow from the experience. I always end a journey appreciating the world in a view that is often dualistic, something that most of us don't often feel or see (a major cause to intolerance).

Africa would be a magnificent host to such contrasts; prey vs. predator, beauty vs. revolt, life vs. death. I would love the opportunity to be able to capture the two sides of life and find the beauty in something that might sometimes come off so ugly. Depicting the world in an honest way and showing its true beauty might be a mission, but well worth it in the end.

I bought a Nikon D60 as my first SLR camera and have been capturing moments and depicting the essences of the life i see with it for years now. Given the opportunity i think i can bring the same love of the planet and its creatures to life through these pictures and share them with the world. Maybe change the perceptions of some us in the process, get us to change the way we perceive things and see the beauty in everything this world has to offer.
