cricket - it's not for me

Seb finally got me to a match of Australia's favorite pastime. I used to think baseball was a fairly boring sport to watch, but I now find it quite enthralling compared to cricket. The match (against South Africa) started at 11:30. I made it about five hours before I couldn't take anymore and went home at 4:30. Seb was there until 8:00! Eight and a half hours of sitting in an uncomfortable chair and watching the world's slowest game. There are no mascots running around. There's no music during the downtime. There are no crazy fans with body paint. There are certainly no cheerleaders. It's so slow that the outfielders actually sign autographs while they're waiting for something to happen. They break to have tea, for heaven's sake.
