Although I am still heartbroken over leaving Bam Bam and Socks for so long, I have found some solace. There is a nice park right behind Sseb's house that becomes a bonafide doggy happy hour in the afternoons. I've found that if I sit patiently on a blanket in the grass, they all come up to me and let me pet them. It's no substitute, but it's better than nothing.
