Awesome Places Near Yangshuo

CHINA | Saturday, 11 July 2009 | Views [169]

Recently I have been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to check out some awesome places not too far from Yangshuo which haven’t been discovered by the masses just yet.

The ancient village of Huangyao oozes charm and tranquility with its amazingly preserved Ming and Qing dynasty houses.

A couple of stunning old wind and rain bridges sitting majestically in the lush rice fields of northern Fuchuan.

Dating back to the Han dynasty (206 BC – 220 AD), Linhe has ancestral temples, an old city wall and a funky mixture of ancient architecture.
