Welcome to my travel journal! This is where I'm posting stories and photos from my ongoing adventures in SE Asia and Australia. Unlike a regular diary, I can't lose this website or drop it in a puddle (plus, I get to share it with you). I'm also hoping it will motivate me to organize my digital pics and keep track of interesting people and places I encounter along the way.

A little background... I was born in Seattle, spent a year in Malaysia as an infant, moved back to the Pacific Northwest, grew up in Seattle, went to college in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, worked in Boston for a few years and now I'm ready for some traveling. Prior to this trip, I have visited the Caribbean, Mexico, Canada, England and Spain. There have been other countries but they don't count if I can't remember them.

The purpose of this summer's trip is pure pleasure; to visit friends and family overseas whom I hardly ever get to see. I have relatives living in Malaysia, Singapore and Australia. Please feel free to comment or just say hello! Note that you may or may not receive postcards from me... a girl can only do so much.

I'll be moving to Southern California this fall. I hope that I'll be able to do a lot more traveling down the road. Let me know if you have any "must see" or "must go" suggestions to share with me!
