My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I have many passions, but one of my most prominent is traveling. I like new places because it is tremendously interesting to find out about other cultures as they have different backgrounds and traditions. I also have a strong passion for photography. It’s so amazing how we can capture everything nowadays, to be remembered and known by other people.
I live in Indonesia, a very beautiful archipelago with various landscapes and civilizations. But unfortunately, most of our people seem like they don’t appreciate it. It’s more common for me to meet foreign people who have an interest in our unique cultures. I think that is really ironic. So I want to share how wonderful my country is to other people, through both photos and articles. I hope I can get this chance to learn more about photography, so I can capture a better picture to make people have more interest to see those places in person.
One of my dreams is to travel around the world. I want to make a book about travel one day, but I also know that I have to improve my skills a lot in writing and photography. So I am extremely keen to win this scholarship and learn as much as possible in the trip. Thank you. :)
