My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I graduated with a BA Hons in Art and Design and decided to go travelling for six months. Those six months have turned into six years and I have now travelled, worked and lived in more than 40 countries. I am happiest when I am in a country that I don’t know, surrounded by people so different from me. I travel alone but I never feel alone, my best friend is always with me, my camera.
I love to take time out of the bustling world and photograph people as they carry on their daily lives and also spend time in nature watching how the light changes and transforms a place. I love to watch and photograph the day appear with sunrise and disappear with sunset.
Photography is very important to me as it is a way of expressing my creative side. I’m not sure if my passion for photography or travelling is greater, they both drive each other.
As I now have the confidence and experience to travel further into the unknown parts of the world I want to have the technical photographic knowledge and confidence to go along with it. I would love this amazing opportunity to win a scholarship with yourselves and promise that I would put it to amazing use.
