dreaming freedom

dreaming freedom

Australia | Tuesday, November 8, 2011 | 5 photos

During my travelling in Australia I had the opportunity to visit the Fremantle’s prison that was open between the 1831 and 1991. After the second half of the XX th century It was given to the prisoners the opportunity to draw and what they mostly desired was freedom. A magic place in the wall, a forest drawn by an aboriginal inside his cellar, the names of a family inside the Australia’s country made me perceive their dream of a free life and a dream of a life with the people we mostly love, people that we consider our family. This made me think how sometimes we just forget how lucky we are to already have the biggest wealths we could ever have.

After my graduation in Biology few months ago I’ve decided to take some time for me and I came in Australia in order to make a new experience and visit a new country different from Europe. Travelling is one of my biggest passions and I like to have memories about places that I’ve seen. Thanks photography I can live again in gorgeous landscapes and meet again with fantastic friends that I’ve met during my travels. That’s why I like photography and I will always try to improve myself to make my shots better and better.
