Ingredients
My recipe is called Frijoles Puercos.. that could be translated to Pork beans.. the ingridients are Beans, mini can of Chipotle Chili, mini can of Chile en Rajas, tortilla chips, Bacon and Chorizo..
How to prepare this recipe
You just have to clean the beans.. than put them in a pot with water and salt to taste.. then you have to prepare them the regular way.
then you fry the chorizo and the bacon while the beans are been cooked..
then in a blender you combine the 2 types of chili.. then you add the chorizo and bacon also to the blender..
after the beans are cooked you add the blender ingridients to make them spicy, ant thats it! now you just have to smash them..
finally you put them in a dish and surround them by totopos, for people to eat as an appetizer!
The story behind this recipe
This is a very special recipe for me, as I have been married for almost 2 years. and I love having people over, friends and family, but all of my recipes were from someone else in my family and i just started doing it.. until one day I discovered a recipe similar to this one at a friends house, and I changed it a little bit to make it my own, this recipe has been loved by everyone, someone always asks it they can get it before they leave our home, they ask us to invite them over, just to have my beans again.. so It makes me very proud to have found a recipe for myself that makes people want to come over!
