I am Mavjuda, from beautiful mountainous country Tajikistan. When I was schoolchild German was taught in school and my English was self-taught. I always belived that one day English Language would change my life. My dream to see the world would become a reality through the language. There’s a saying : “You know the Language, you know the world”. So far, this is already proving true because this language really changed my life. Years ago, scientists had a trip to legendary Lake “Sarez”, which is located on Pamir Mountains, formed in 1911 after a great earthquake and becoming many tourist magnets. They passed through our beautiful district. For some reason, the translator failed to make a trip and they needed English translator, with local language to substitute for him. I passed interview. It was my first trip to mountain, for what I was so happy, and it was a good, life changing experience for me and opportunity to practice my English. I adore the beauty of nature of Bartang Valley. I realized that travel is the best thing in the world. Thanks to this local encounter and my improved English, I began to seek out new opportunities to travel and see the world. My search led me to a Master’s Degree course abroad in India and which I successfully completed. My time of study in India was a totally life changing in another way because the Indian experience allowed me to encounter another like-minded traveler from the beautiful tropical country Jamaica, He liked travel as much I did and already had many experiences in the world of travel. I found him very interesting and we started travelling together around India. Goa was the place where I saw the ocean for the first time. We had many adventure. My life of travel now is like a happy movie with a worthy sequel. We are now married with a precious son who at seven months old has already travelled half way around the world. Just like his parents. That was a happy local encounter of my life, but the story is not ended!
