Made it to the zoo today.
Its a quality zoo, you can get really close to the animals.
We were worried about the animals all being in hiding due to the cold, but they had obviously thought of that, so all the animals from hot climates had indoor parts to their enclosures.
They have a huge range of animals, elephants, all the big cats, wolves, brown bears, polar bears (remember Knut the baby polar bear from the news back in 2006, he was there), everything. They also have an aquarium, reptile, amphibian and insect building. Good day out.
Just have to pack tonight, and get ready for the 12:00 train to amsterdam.
Will definatley have to come back to berlin in the summer, cool town.
