Day 66

GERMANY | Monday, 8 February 2010 | Views [265] | Comments [1]

We had heard good things about the "alternative Berlin" tour, so we made our way over there today.

The tour took us to all these underground music and art areas, a whole bunch of grafiti murals and even some of the biggest squats in Berlin. I had no idea that berlin had such a huge counter coulture.

The tour was really good, got to see the longest remaining stretch of wall aswell. Learnt abit about Berlin´s history aswell, well worth doing.

Went to a brilliant vietnamese resteraunt for dinner, place was packed last night, and just as packed tonight. Managed to get seats at the bar, food was brilliant, Monsuier Voung´s is the name if ever anyone is in Berlin.

We are in a really cool part of berlin, lots of cool resteraunts, bars and clothes shops. Will definatley have to buy some clothes here. But im trying to avoid the bars, haha.

Going on the "Third Reich Tour" tomorrow, should be good.
