Day 6

UNITED KINGDOM | Thursday, 10 December 2009 | Views [231]

Lost my first pad this morning, luckily Helen gave me a spare, and i did all my journal entries online yesterday.

Starting to get a bit colder, apparently weather is coming over from Scandinavia.

Caught the tube to Abbey Road, took the mandatory photo crossing the road. Much harder to do than you'd think. English van drivers arent too keen on Aussie tourists standing in the middle of the road trying to get a photo.

Lords Cricket Ground was just down the road, so we walked there, but you could only go on the tour at 12 or 2, and it cost £15 so we gave it a miss.

Back on the tube over to Harrods...strange place. A bit like Willy Wonka's department store. As soon as we got in the guard asked us to take our backpacs off, as we had to carry them by hand, security in the UK is a bit crazy.

Walked over to the Museum of Natural History. Spent the arvo in there. Cool place, but more kid orientated than the Brittish Museum.

Cheapest day so far, only spent £3.50 (and £10 on beer)
