I was born and lived in Oman until the age of five, however I ended up spending my next fourteen years in Morocco. Well it was not my responsibility that my Dad's work contract had finished so we had to comeback to Morocco. Nevertheless, ending up in Fes city was one of the most amazing and beautiful destiny.
Living in the land of God as it is the meaning of Morocco in Spanish, I had a great chance to explore a multicultural land where you can find different races, diver colors, too many ideologies and too different religions. All this coexist with tolerance and peace making this kingdom one of the safest country in the African continent and the Arab world.
While growing up I was lucky to visit too many cities and enjoying the weather, the cuisine and the culture.
It might sound crazy that I have found every special detail in my hometown unique, however it is the truth. So you can call me crazy.
There is a charming magic in Morocco that you can not find any where else in the planet. People say that the food is the secret, others say it is the wether or the geography. Honestly it does not matter whether was it the air or the water. The only thing matters is there is a mystery that attracts more than ten million tourist to this ground every year.
I have gathered all my researching to figure out a solution for this enigma.
First of all,the culture and history. Both have a huge impact on the Moroccan lifestyle. You can pass by the old medina of Fes which has a rich history of more than twelve century full of mixed eras, you can literally express a transformation time that leads you out in 1600s or 1400s. This characteristic, free the soul and put you in a whole another story that make vanish the daily worries. It makes you fly to far long ages, before you were even borne and so do your problems.
Such a feeling can be caused either by walking throw this narrow streets or by being high, which is not legal nor healthy.
Talking about just one burg may lead me to write a book on it. You can imagine how many ones I can publish if you know that there are more than ten city in addition to countless towns and villages and every region has its own magic.
The second beauty of Morocco is weather. It is located in North Africa and it is the closest part of the Europe continent. Such location gives Morocco the warmth of the mother continent and the fresh air of the european one.
Ending up in Morocco was and still my favorite life's coincidence.
