My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

Ladakh has been always been one of my most favored travel destinations in India. Not only does this place offer hordes of adventure activities but it's also a photographers haven. In this photo story my goal was to highlight the key findings of my trip and convey how I felt and experienced when capturing those moments.

Right from my college days I always wanted to be a photographer, but destiny and the inability to fund myself to buy expensive gears was a major roadblock to my aspirations.

Ten years down the line, the passion and urge to become a photographer never ebbed away. Even though now a successful IT professional with the means to buy decent photographic gears the urge to switch career is even more desirable now.

This scholarship will not only give me new insights into this form of art, but also at the same time give me the confidence to scale greater heights and set new standards for myself.
