My Opportunity to Follow my Dream

Vietnam | Tuesday, January 8, 2013 | 5 photos

My incredible passion for photography blossomed from when I was only a young girl, the day my father and I took a road trip. I was given a simple camera that day to take pictures of things for fun. I was drawn to the innocent beauty of flowers that silently grew alongside the road. I took a close up photo of a daisy and showed it to my father. He seemed very pleased of what I had taken and said, " Kyra you are a natural."

Ever since that day, I have opened a new door to photography and grown accustomed to capturing moments before they are gone.

My parents took on my passion with duel force as they started to buy more expensive cameras and take me on car trips to find photo opportunities. Thanks to my mother and father I have really had the opportunity to work on my obsession that is photography.

Not only did I have passion for photography, since I lived in such a rural area in Australia, I have always had the lust for travelling or 'getting lost'. I am bored of the routine life I have, I have always had the fantasy of traveling with simply a camera in hand and my curiosity leading the way.

It is my dream to become a travel photographer.
