My name is Kyra Hardman, I am 20 years old and currently studying photography at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario.
I feel I should be chosen as the winner for this contest because I aspire to become a photo journalist for National Geographic. My passion is to travel the world taking photos of my adventures and everything I see, I would love to share my photos with the world.
Currently my photography is pretty amateur but I am always looking for ways to improve my work and I am hoping that working with someone from National Geographic who does what I want to will help me learn.
Although I have not travelled far to date, I would never turn down the opportunity to travel because I feel it is important to explore other places and cultures, it is educating.
My photo gallery is of photos I took of a storm in Port Elgin, Ontario.
I hope you will select me as the winner for this contest, it would mean the world to me and would help me take a big step forward in my future career as a travelling photo journalist.
