My name is Kylie. I am a mum of two children. I was born and raised in Australia and I have never been overseas.
I have loved photography for as long as I can remember. I got my first camera when I was about 5 years old. I took so many photos that my mum said I would send her broke with the cost of developing film. I didnt understand that then. All I knew, was that the world and everything in it was magical and I needed to take photos of that.
As I said, I have never left Australia, but it doesnt matter. Alot of my photos have been taken in my garden, or the park, or the beach, which is my favourite place to be. And sometimes the smallest things can be the most significant, the most beautiful and hold the most sentiment.
Nature is my world. I find peace in its simplicity. I find challenge in its complexity. Nature keeps me grounded and reminds me that this world is not ours alone. We are merely spectators and should pay more mind to her.
There is beauty all around us, if we just take the time to see.
