T - minus 12 hours before my plane takes off for Costa Rica. This trip is unlike any other trip I've ever taken.

As I finally started packing my bags last night, it finally hit me. I'm doing this! Ready or not! I'm traveling with Mike, Nisa (college buddies), Mike's girlfriend Courtney (who seems really great!), Nisa's friend Matt and his girlfriend Corina (who I haven't had much contact with quite yet). We've figured out where we are going and how are are getting there, but all of the other final details are still to be worked out. I'm working on that whole "winging it" thing, but my type A personality is really struggling to let go of the control.
I'm hoping to use this platform as a way to document my trip along the way. Let's see how it works!
