Diver squeezes into a small cave in order to spear a group of lionfish. The fish often hide in deep recesses in the reef, making them difficult to catch.

A large red grouper followed the divers the whole dive, begging for a handout of freshly speared lionfish. Lionfish often congregate in small groups, making them easier to find.

Free diver dives down to spear a fish on a large coral head. Lionfish can be found in all types of depths and habitats, ranging from 5 feet to over 500 feet.
