SENSE OF SIGHT. Before finally disposing of the trash in the dump site, garbage trucks momentarily halt in front of some houses along the road. This gives the residents a chance to jump onto the truck and randomly collect any rubbish. A young boy looks at the open tailgate and possibly asks himself, "Will I be doing the same someday?"

SENSE OF HEARING. A young girl on the street of Payatas—a slum area in urban Quezon City—hears the bell of an incoming dump truck. This is a signal of an arrival of a
new bunch of 'treasure' – a pile of garbage which is a probable source of their
meals for the day. Families earn money by selling items to nearby junk shops.

SENSE OF SMELL. People living in Payatas—even those at a very young age—are exposed
to the nasty smell of their surrounding. They have to endure and get used to the
stench, for collecting garbage is their primary livelihood. An innocent boy
covers his nose as he stares at the amount of waste outside their home.
