Myself Kumar Dosi, 29, married, happy and an engineer by profession.
Photography is a hobby developed late, but grown quickly into a passion. Shooting for a year now, I shoot everything-life, places, portraits, flora-even weddings! I haven’t finalized on a niche for myself–I do try to tell stories through use of creative lighting or capturing a moment that invokes pleasing or emotional reactions.
While I enjoy what I do, I lament the lack of time and resources I have for travel, especially when I see work of renowned photographers. I am a bit less venturing in nature and am not fully confident of leaving a decent job and jump into photography.
Oman travel photography with Jason Edwards is a dream opportunity for a hobbyist like me. Jason’s travel and wildlife work is extensive-he would have so much to teach! What surprised me is that he prefers minimal post processing, and this is the most important thing I would like to learn–get the composition/metering right the first time. In return, I offer my passion, eyes and ears–my soul–in full. Eventually, I hope to get additional confidence and courage to jump into the field of travel photography.
