My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I am a climber and because of this I am accustomed to all manner of extremes; weather, altitude, attitude, ambition. Photography is the medium through which I express this. Creating art through the natural beauty around me is the goal for which I strive. I am constantly looking for ways to hone my craft and this scholarship would be an invaluable teaching tool. I am self-taught but am looking for someone who can teach me things beyond what I have discovered myself. I am looking for someone who can push my boundaries and broaden the way I think about photography and the images I create. I am looking for an opportunity to do what I love (i.e., be outdoors with a camera) while learning ways to improve my experience and my products. I am merely waiting for my chance; someone to take a gamble on me.
