My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

My name is Kristy Taylor and I am a 25 year old Call Centre Operator from Melbourne, Australia. I am a highly creative and motivated person, and sitting in an office working 9-5 is definitely not my ideal way of expressing my creativity. In July 2012 I finished my Diploma in Photography and since then have been craving to learn more about what my camera and I can achieve as a team and what better way to do that than on a Scholarship with Jason Edwards in Oman. As an aspiring photographer I spend a large portion of my time behind my camera documenting this wonderful planet, anything from inanimate objects around the house to beautiful scenery and wildlife. Every day brings a new set of challenges and learning curves, not just with photography but also within ourselves and what better way to learn and grow from these experiences but with other people from around the world. Photography to me means more than just pointing a camera and shooting. Everything and everyone on Earth has a story to tell, and I am making it my life’s challenge to tell as many of these stories as possible.
