Waiting to go....that's what it's all about now. Waiting. And packing. Trying to decide what I need to bring. So glad I've done this before, and have some idea of what will be useful, what will be useless. Useful - head torch, extra pair of sunglasses, digital camera. Useless - fancy "adventure" clothing and accessories, including those "quick-drying" travel towels....
Waiting and reading, that's what I'm doing now. And downloading music, in a vain attempt to fill my iPod even a quarter of the way up with music....got rid of all my cd's after burning them all, kind of nice to be de-possessing once again. I wonder how little I can get down to?!?
