Indian Landscapes
India | Sunday, June 23, 2013 | 5 photos
As an amateur traveler, photography happened by accident to me. I started traveling alone during my late teens, and it brought a huge change in my outlook toward life. Living in India, the land of spirituality, travel encouraged an inward introspection of the self. The concept of "I" died, helping me better understand the world around without any preconceived notions and judgements. Every place i went to, everything i saw in this vast land enchanted me. I was learning, but that did not seem enough, i had to give back, i needed to be heard. This need was fulfilled by photography. I hope to spread the awe and wonder that I have experienced, and have found photography to be my preferred medium in doing so.
A chance to be a part of the scholarship would go great way in helping me better understand myself as a story teller.
