I'm An Everywhere Girl

Hi, my name is Mckenzie. I made this particular video this past weekend on a road trip with my two college buddies to the mountains of Asheville, NC. I'm a sophomore in college looking for an outlet for my love for filmmaking. I've been playing around with video since I was in middle school. But, almost all the videos I’ve made have been born out of spontaneously recorded videos that I collected from various trips I’ve been on. Whether in front or behind the camera, I love using film as a way to remember my trips in a artistic way. Telling a good story with video is a skill I’m thrilled to be learning more about. Eventually, I'd love to travel the world, meeting those beautifully diverse people in all cultures and tell their stories to the rest of the world. winning this scholarship would give me the boost I need to become a skilled traveling filmmaker!
