I guess you could say I'm off on a traveling "career break." That sounds more exciting than "unemployed" or "between jobs." In retrospect, the time spent at my corporate job as a manager could be labeled, although sardonically, as "between pulses." Of course, that's a bit extreme and completely unfair since the job did provide me with many skills and very importantly, with the means to travel without worrying about a paycheck for a little while. I'm just ready to explore beyond my cubicle.
