A sundial in the gardens. If you stand on the current month/day of the concrete slab on the ground and hold your arms up the  shadow will fall against one of the slabs sticking up in a semi circle and tell you the time. I did it, it worked.

I just saw the same kind of thing here on the lawn of the Woodlawn Public Library in Wilmington Delaware (USA). There just wasn't enough sun (overcast) to tell the time when I was standing on the current month.
