My Scholarship entry - day by day, road by road

Canada | Wednesday, November 19, 2014 | 5 photos

When I look out a window or across a river I think about all the life, what everything is doing, how it's surviving and, when i'll be lucky enough to take a photo. Be it a plant, a bird or, a person. It doesn't have to beautiful, or even alive, whatever i'm taking a picture of has or once had a purpose and that alone, I find beautiful, if something in my life is hard, i takes pictures, or do yoga, reset my mind, and get lost on back roads. I get so excited when I get an awesome picture, no I'm not the best, but that's not the point, passion is the point, appreciation is the point, giving myself a purpose and doing something I love is the greatest feeling ever. I may be young but I have had some very trying times more than the "my phone broke" or "Im fighting with friend" hard points. I could care less about material, yes looking good and having things is great, but if all i had were ratty clothes and a camera with some lenses and a way to charge said camera, i could be happy. Simply, everything. every road, every tree, even every darn magpie is beautiful, and should be cared about as much as people care about themselves, easier said than done it seems.
