At the waterside, a.k.a Monet revisited

For me, taking pictures is like capturing a tiny fraction of time in a single image. It's seeing the beauty in the small things and sharing it. Occassionally it can be frustrating to see the beauty, but not being able to capture it. Knowing more about the finer details of photography could help with that. Although post-processing can make mediocre photos look a lot better, I try not to rely on it, but instead be able to take good shots. (For the record: I've not postprocessed any of the photos posted here.)
Personally, I'm not so much a fan of manuals as I am of testing and trying out things; if I get a camera and different lenses in my hands and I just learn from experience what I can do with it and what I can't. I'm a quick learner and would really appreciate to be chosen. Yet, you don't need to choose me. In fact, you don't need to choose anyone. I'm sure the best coherent story told by pictures will choose for you.
