Learn New Skills - Becoming a filmmaker in Bordeaux

I first started making short films a year ago. Kino Sydney, an inclusive 'open-mic' style night for filmmakers, made this possible. Jason and I have collaborated on a number of films together since. Jason realised his love for film earlier, majoring in film studies as part of his Communications degree. His dream is to be a director.
Jason and I are applying for this World Nomads project as a team. We feel it would be a really important stepping stone on our route to becoming documentary filmmakers. We share a love for travel and discovering unique places and people. We've both been to New Orleans and we agree that from the urban decay of the lower ninth ward, to the romanticism of the French quarter, whatever we produce will be vibrant and interesting.
I may be biased, but I can think of no better person to collaborate with than Jason. As a storyteller, I'm constantly throwing out ideas and plans; he helps me to realise my visions. I am organised and a great producer, with no qualms about asking people for interviews, help, use of venues to film in, etc; Jason is happier behind the camera filming these encounters!
