Had lovely life in Vancouver. Typical story; had it all, left it and ran away for some soul searching/whitewashing orphanages. Actually, Morgan got a contract out here and I didn't want to be left behind. 
Am currently enrolled in three volunteer programs. The first is said orphanage whitewashing in Rajasthan, the second is farm work in Ladakh and the third is volunteer management in Karnataka. This will take me through to December. After which, Morgan will meet me and we'll travel up the west coast to Goa and Mumbai and then eventually overland to the UK. 
Morgan and I do see each other in this whole India thing; far more often than if I had stayed in Vancouver. Also, we do enjoy sending texts concerning the latest idiotic situation we've gotten ourselves into (actually, said idiotic situations usually revolve around me as Morgan lives, works and plays in the same sodding marble monstrosity in Gurgaon). The first couple of weeks of journal entries do include a lot of stomach complaints, which I found fascinating to whinge about online. It was also comforting to send Morgan endless numbers of text messages describing each stomach twist and missed meal.
