one of the many cripples
I am priviledged to know this man. His name is Ram and he will be 25 now. I met him for the first time when he was 16. He has lived in the temple at Hampi for many years. He does not beg but will accept money freely given and reward with his friendship and help. He cares for his family and saved enough to pay for his sister's wedding. He does not feel sorry for himself. On my last visit I was happy to find out he was married. He told me he has a great life. I think of him whenever I start to feel sorry for myself.
