My name is Kevin Diaz and like most people entering to win this chance to go film in Columbia, i am a passionate filmmaker

I was born in Santiago Chile and moved to Vancouver Canada when I was three years old.

I am in love with a girl named Gabrielle Lortie but we are not allowed to be together due to complicated reasons

I attended Vancouver Film School but had to drop out because of finical reasons, although i did get to attend the school for half of my one year course. I learned a lot about filmmaking and i also realized that i didn't have to go to film school to become the greatest filmmaker in the world. I know i have the talent for storytelling and filmmaking and i already got enough experience during half of my one year course.

I want to make films because i believe there is an art in cinema. It is everything to me. I think about it everyday and every minute. I constantly think about how i can make the simplest film with the lowest amount of money. I've been in love with movies since watching star wars and back to the future films with my dad as a kid.

One day I want to be the best in the world and then i could help out someone with a dream just like me become i great as well
